Common parasites like roundworms and hookworms endanger your pet’s health. If left untreated, they can even lead to death. Use Hartz UltraGuard Rid Worm™ Dewormers to effectively treat symptoms, remove parasites, and protect your pet and your family.
Symptoms of a parasitic infection.
Blockage, vomiting, lethargy, dull coat, blackened feces, and/or a potbellied look are all signs your pet may have a parasitic infection.
How parasites are contracted.
If your pet ingests parasitic eggs, larvae, or an infected rodent, they are susceptible to infection. An infected mother may also pass it to her young.
Health effects on humans.
Roundworms are zoonotic, meaning if exposed to parasites, humans can also become infected. Severe itching, skin lesions, muscle pain, vision loss, severe inflammation and damage to vital organs, and in extreme cases, lung disease, are all possible outcomes of parasite exposure to humans.
